Are you so focused on doing everything right that you’ve forgotten how to just be together? Couples therapy is where you stop performing and start connecting.
What Therapy Looks Like
Wondering what therapy is really like? It’s not lying on a couch talking about your childhood. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all together. It’s about untangling what’s stuck and making space for who you want to become.

Meet Jessica
Most of us only see the butterfly, not what it took to get there. I’m Jessica Batres, a Registered Social Worker in Ontario, and I work with people in the middle of that change: exhausted from being the strong one, anxious about letting someone down or quietly wondering who they’d be without everyone’s expectations.
Raíces means “roots” in Spanish, and it’s the heart of this practice. Where you come from, whether that’s family, culture or the story you have carried, can become your strength instead of your burden. You don’t have to change alone.

Resources
Articles, tools, and links to support you between sessions and beyond. Sometimes you need support outside of therapy—here are resources that might help.
Speaking Engagements & Partnerships
Healing doesn’t just happen in therapy, it happens in community. Through workshops, panels, and public speaking, I create spaces where we can learn, reflect, and grow—together.
